Type in Motion

[concept] This motion design showcases the geometric and open qualities of the 'ITC Avant Garde' typeface. I highlighted these features through a selective colour palette inspired by the visual aesthetic of The Bauhaus artistic movement, which I felt was relevant to the font's visual similarities. From my typographic analysis, I planned a 20-second-long storyboard, from which a snippet was animated with After Effects, focusing on minimalist, smooth, and innovative transitions. View on Vimeo
